Inoculate the liquid media with the swab by 10 brisk rotations to transfer the collected material. Break the swab where marked and retain in the tube. If a thin flocked swab is used, discard swab after inoculating media in the tube. Bacterial culture including aerobes and anaerobes. Also suitable for fungal culture.
