Anxiety disorders involve excessive fear, anxiety, or worries that interfere with your well-being and ability to function. What are the symptoms of anxiety disorder?

People with an anxiety disorder may experience excessive fear or worry about a specific situation (for example, a panic attack or social situation) or, in the case of generalized anxiety disorder, about a broad range of everyday situations. They typically experience these symptoms over an extended period – at least several months.

Do you have an anxiety disorder?

Approximately 25% of the population have an anxiety disorder that warrants treatment at some time in their life and up to another 25% have less severe anxieties such as fears of spider and snakes.
