What is Juluca used for?
Juluca is used to treat HIV infection. If you are allergic to Juluca; any part of this medicine; or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
How does Juluca work against HIV?
Juluca combines two antiretroviral drugs in one pill. Dolutegravir is an HIV integrase inhibitor. Rilpivirine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Each drug class works against HIV in a different way.
Who should take Juluca?
Juluca is a two-drug fixed-dose combination medication that is used alone as a complete regimen to treat HIV infection in adults to replace their current HIV medicines when their healthcare provider determines that they meet certain requirements.
Is Juluca safe for children?
Juluca is a two-drug fixed-dose combination medication that is used alone as a complete regimen to treat HIV infection in adults to replace their current HIV medicines when their healthcare provider determines that they meet certain requirements. The safety and effectiveness of Juluca has not been established in children under 18 years of age.
Can Juluca be used with other HIV medicines?
Juluca is a complete HIV treatment regimen and should not be used with other HIV medicines. Juluca contains two different medicines: dolutegravir and rilpivirine. What are the side effects of Juluca?
Some side effects of Juluca can be serious as noted above. Many side effects from HIV medicines, such as nausea or occasional dizziness, are manageable. Does Juluca contain rilpivirine?
Juluca is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing dolutegravir (as dolutegravir sodium), an INSTI,and rilpivirine (as rilpivirine hydrochloride), an NNRTI.
