Sovaldi is used to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults and children who are at least 3 years old. Sovaldi must be given in combination with other antiviral medications (usually ribavirin with or without peginterferon alfa).

Sovaldi and other medicines may affect each other. This can cause you to have too much or not enough Sovaldi or other medicines in your body. This may affect the way Sovaldi or your other medicines work, or may cause side effects. Keep a list of your medicines to show your healthcare provider and pharmacist.
Is Sovaldi safe and effective?
It is not known if SOVALDI is safe and effective in children under 3 years of age with HCV genotype 2 or 3 infection, or with HCV genotype 1 or 4 infection. It is not known if SOVALDI is safe and effective in people who have had a liver transplant. are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It is not known if SOVALDI will harm your unborn baby.
